Artists

GILLIAN WALSH

Gillian Walsh is an artist from New York. She works with performance, primarily with experimental dance. She also works in theater and collaborates across disciplines. This year, she was in residence at The Chinati Foundation.  

TESS DWORMAN

Tess Dworman is a choreographer, performer, and audio describer based in New York. Her work has been presented by Roulette Intermedium, New York Live Arts, the Chocolate Factory Theater, Abrons Art Center, and Pageant. In 2020, she was honored by the Bessie’s New York Dance and Performance Awards as an “Outstanding Breakout Choreographer”. As a performer, she's worked extensively with Tere O'Connor and Juliana F. May. She is a 2025-26 Movement Research Artist in Residence.

TIRESIAS

Tiresias is a hybrid writer, director, composer, performer, puppeteer, mythmaker, shapeshifter, drag-thing, songbird, and ritualist. Described as “a rara avis of experimental theatre” by The New Yorker, their work explores queer ecologies, weird mythologies, and speculative futures. Tiresias has presented dozens of original performance works at venues such as La MaMa, MoMA PS1, MaHalla Berlin, Fábrica Braço de Prata (Lisbon), Teatro Lúcido (CDMX), and the Agung Rai Museum of Art (Bali). They have received residencies and fellowships from Ucross, MacDowell, Millay Arts, Sitka, Bogliasco, Monson Arts, Luce, Marshall, Fulbright, and elsewhere. They are the 2026 Jim Henson Foundation Puppetry Resident at the O’Neill Theater Center, the Inaugural Artist in Residence at the Museum für Naturkunde Berlin (2026), and an Inaugural 2025-2026 Princess Grace Artist Fellow.
